Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic to the State of Texas Brian and Mrs. Joan Vanicek on the opening of the Texas Czech Consul’s office at the Czech Center Museum Houston.

We would like to thank Mr. Vanicek for this honor to welcome the Czech ambassador to Houston and thank Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen and her family to volunteering their time and services as well as Mr. Charles Waligura, Mrs. Jean Rayhill, Dr. Sally Miller, Virginia Stoner, Juana Wilson, Eva-Maria Campo and Dr. Glenn Sternes.
We would also like to thank for the delicious food prepared by Pavla Van Bibber from the Austin Escoffier school of culinary arts and the wine from the vineyard Majek as well as Zack Chromy for the great slivovice. We also would like to thank our wonderful musicians Carolyn Beseda (piano), Danny Zapletal (accordion, trumpet) and David Slovak (accordion) who made this event joyful and unique.
