On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of the Czech Center Museum Houston (CCMH), I would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks for the community’s support of Czech Center Museum’s Annual Gala. We are grateful for the generosity of our Annual Gala guests, volunteers and Texas businesses for making this event a success.
The Czech Center Museum Houston cannot continue – or grow – its outreach to the community through exhibits, programs, and educational experiences without your support.
Over the last year, your philanthropy has achieved so much. Your participation and gifts have allowed the museum to recover from Harvey.
Your generosity has also prompted tremendous steps forward in the preservation and management of the museum’s collection. Lastly, it allows the museum to offer our community special family programs, free education & student workshops.
At this year’s awards dinner Ms. Beryl Hogshead, educator, patron for the humanitarian efforts throughout the city recognized for living the mission of the Czech Center Museum in the local community. We extend our gratitude to this year’s lead sponsors & donors, Theoron R. Holladay, Sr. & Kyle Timmerman with Parkway Advisors L.P. and SPJST.
Czech Center Museum Houston’s Gala would not be possible without the support of the Museum’s Volunteers, including Virginia Stoner, Eva-Maria Campo, Carol Vacca, Marie Mann, Juana Wilson, Miranda Ruzinsky, Ezgi Janicek, Katherine Santiago-Martinez, Sheida Pebdani and Brianna Bruckner, for their help and service.
We will continue to build on the year’s successes with the support of our friends and community with a renewed commitment to the Czech Center Museum Houston over the months ahead. There’s so much more we can accomplish if we do it together, and the need within our community for museum experiences and access is great.
Thank you again for your commitment to this beloved Cultural institution. I look forward to stewarding the museum’s mission with each of you during the months and years ahead.
— Best regards, Effie Rosene, CEO, Czech Center Museum Houston.
